Adirondack Chair & Accessories
These surprisingly comfortable chairs were originally designed by Thomas Lee while vacationing in the Adirondack Mountains. Now they come in many styles and colours but the fundamentals always stay the same. Our Adirondack chair is handmade from genuinely used apple bin wood, the wood has been weathered for many years having previously been used to store apples on orchards and in cold stores. Now with a new purpose, to give you comfort whilst soaking up the sun in your garden!
The chair has been finished with an outdoor wood stain which has a light walnut effect, every piece of weathered wood really stands out with no 2 pieces appearing the same. Some retailers claim a handmade item when just putting the pieces together, for us every piece on this chair has been cut down from an original apple bin and hand sanded twice before being fitted to a custom shaped frame, again by hand and by us!
We also make an optional foot stool and coffee table all with the same design and finish, you can add to your order.
