No needles to hoover up and you still get all the fun of decorating it. They look great with little white lights or tea-lights (please be careful when using real candles!).</p><p>We have made the star on the top removable so you can use it all year round, the base it also removable so you can pack it up flat after the festive season is over.</p><p><img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/VAC Christmas/whte back ground flat (1024x1024).jpg" style="width: 200px; float: left; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px; height: 200px;" />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/VAC Christmas/decorated (1024x1024).jpg" style="width: 200px; height: 200px; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px;" /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/VAC Christmas/IMG_0538 (1024x1024).jpg" style="width: 200px; height: 200px; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px;" /></p><p><u>Production:</u></p><p>All our products are made from genuinely used apple crates sourced from fruits farms across Europe, and occasionally small parts of apple bins or pallets.</p><p><img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/Apple Crate Type/Type 4 (2).jpg" style="width: 200px; height: 200px; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px; float: left;" /></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>All our products are then hand crafted, piece by piece, in our small Kent workshop by one of our small team of two woodworkers.</p><p><img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/making of/IMG_0297 (1280x1280).jpg" style="width: 200px; height: 200px; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px;" />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/making of/IMG_0295 (1280x1280).jpg" style="width: 200px; height: 200px; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px;" />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/making of/Snapshot 6 (18-11-2016 15-13).png" style="width: 200px; height: 113px; border-width: 2px; border-style: solid; margin: 2px;" /></p><p><img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/making of/IMG_0301 (1280x1280).jpg" style="width: 200px; height: 200px; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px;" />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/making of/IMG_0308 (1280x1280).jpg" style="width: 200px; height: 200px; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px;" />&nbsp;&nbsp; <img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/making of/Snapshot 9 (18-11-2016 15-21).png" style="width: 200px; height: 113px; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px;" /></p><p><img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/making of/IMG_0310 (1280x1280).jpg" style="width: 200px; height: 200px; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px;" /></p><p>All of our handmade products are then carefully sanded, just very lightly in order to remove any excess rough wood whilst still maintaining as much of the original colour as possible.</p><p><img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/making of/Snapshot 1 (18-11-2016 15-10).png" style="width: 200px; height: 113px; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px;" /></p><p>Then decorate to taste :) As so:</p><p><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/PksQq0orrrc" width="560"></iframe></p><p><a href="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/wooden-christmas-tree" target="_blank"><img alt="" src="http://www.vintageapplecrates.com/image/data/VAC Christmas/vactree.jpg" style="width: 400px; height: 400px; border-width: 3px; border-style: solid; margin: 3px; float: left;" /></a></p>
